Hello everyone, and welcome to Scrapville's January Newsletter, and our first for 2012.  We're looking forward to some changes this year, and hope that these will bring a taste of something new and exciting for you all.

The first of our changes are our three new Creative Team Members.  We hope you get to know Anita, Claire and Deb all a little better as you are awed and inspired by their creativity.  Continuing on the Team is Sally, who will continue to take our Blind Cropville's to the limit, and inspire you all with her hands on classes and scrapping skills.  Each of these ladies has wonderful talent to share with us all, and I am especially looking forward to seeing their creations each month.

Well our December/January Sketch Challenge has only a few days to go, so the countdown to Pumpkin Time is on!  Jump on board people and let's see what you have come up with for this one.  We have an assortment of Sketch Challenges in so far, and I am very keen to see what else you can come up with before this one finishes.  I am sure there are still a few more to come in yet! The Pumpkin is ticking girls!!!

Our January Monthly Pack is up and running, and for those of you who like a bit of Kraft, you're going to love this one!  We have chosen the Kraft - Fun Day range from My Minds Eye.  This has an assortment of Kraft papers, along with the usual range of goodies added in.  Be sure to pick yours up before you miss out.

If you want to be in the running for a Monthly Pack Challenge Prize, then pick up a Monthly Pack and start creating. You must use only the products in the pack, although you may use techniques such as inking, painting, stitching, punching, Glimmer Misting etc, and be sure to have your Layout in by Midnight on 31st January.

If you would like to Subscribe to our Monthly Packs, please call into the store or email Janet for details.  The Subscription options are for either a 6 month or 12 month period.  P&H is applicable for those that are not able to pick up their Monthly Subscription from the Wodonga store.

Woo Hoo it's back!!  Our first BCV is running this month, and I'm sure you will be in for more surprises this year.  We have made some changes to the classes, so take note of the following:
At Scrapville our first class will commence at 2pm, the second class will commence at 7pm.  Both classes will run for two and a half hours and start with a coffee or tea.
Bookings are essential, and a list of your photos and requirements will be emailed to you prior to the weekend before the classes.

Our next BCV will be on Saturday, 21st January, and then from February they will run the second Saturday of every month.  Please ensure you book in and pay your deposit.

Regular Wednesday afternoons are still set aside for WanderVille at Scrapville. Here you can "Wander on in" to Scrapville and scrap, make your cards, finish off those special projects or look for a bit of inspiration for that next creation. You can also use the time to do a catch-up class, so long as prior arrangements have been made.  WanderVille starts at 1pm, and finishes up at 4pm.
I really hope you might ........

The January to April Class lists are being uploaded to the Newsletter Blog.  Make sure you go and have a look so that you can check out the class times and dates.  We have a variety of new classes, with more to be added as we firm up details.
Please note all classes require a booking and deposit.

The Scrapville Copic Club is set to commence once again in February 2012.  The Club runs for a period of 4x monthly classes, with an optional 5th Advanced Class. During these classes Members will learn about how versatile these markers are, and discover how to obtain the best results by learning their techniques. Each Copic Club Class includes a Kit with markers and monthly notes. Other products will also be added, and are dependant on the class techniques being run.

Anyone interested in signing the Little People up for classes over the holidays, please contact Janet. If you have an enthusiastic young group of 4 or more, you can enquire about a group booking.  All Little People attending classes are required to have a Basic Tool Kit.  Please contact  Janet to make other arrangements if they don't have one, as sharing between 2 or 3 can be too time consuming during classes.

I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Claire Apostoloff on being published in the Masters Edition of Australian Scrapbooking Memories, and for also receiving an Honorable Mention.  Well done, great work.

I would also like to congratulate local scrapper Anthea English for also being published in the Masters Edition of Australian Scrapbooking Memories.  Anthea was also a Guest on the Scrapville Creative Team, and we are pleased that her wonderful work is being acknowledged.
Congratulations and well done girls.
