NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Hello everyone, and welcome to Scrapville's November Newsletter. Here we are at the other end of the yearly calendar, and I am still trying to get my head around where the rest of this year has gone!  As a positive reflection though, we have seen lots of inspiration pass through the doors of Scrapville, both physically and in the cyber world!  We have shared with you new Creative Team Members and their talents, watched the changing technique and style of some newer scrappers grow, and introduced some challenging and imaginative classes.  At this point of the year I hope it has been as fulfilling for you as it has for myself and the Team at Scrapville.

SKETCH CHALLENGES
Well our October/November Sketch Challenge still has two weeks to go before Pumpkin Time, so jump on board people and get yours in. You're going to need the extra time for other things this month........

NOVEMBER MONTHLY PACK

Our November Monthly Pack is due out at the end of this week, so keep tuned for the Creative Team updates, and see how these talented people have used their packs.  Using Little Black Dress from Basic Grey,  I am sure the girls will be inspiring you to grab a pack yourself and start creating. These are great papers to work with, so I hope you can get your Challenge Pack in.

If you want to be in the running for a prize pack, pick up your Monthly Pack and start creating.  You must use only the products in the pack, but you may use techniques such as inking, painting, stitching, Glimmer Misting etc, and be sure to have your Layout in by Midnight on 30th November.

SCRAPBURSTS!!
For the month of November we are going to be running with 4 ScrapBursts, so dig deep and get into that stash, pop into Scrapville and top up your supplies, and lets find that mojo to get your creativity flowing.  Now here they are:
#1 - METALS
This layout is to incorporate Metals - this can be embellishments, metal foil, charms - as long as there is a healthy balance of these it'll be ok.
#2 - STITCHING
Ah Ha - and it can be by hand or machine, as long as we have at least 25% of stitching used on your layout, which is more than just the border girls, so get creative!
#3 - NUMBERS
Ok, following the list you will need to have ALL of the following incorporated into your layout:
1 x bling shape/pattern/word
2 x photos
3 x frames
4 x patterned papers
5 x brads
#4 - EMBOSSED PAPER
This layout is to incorporate Embossed Papers, whether you add them or emboss your own.  Your layout must include at least 1/3 of EMBOSSED paper/s.

You will have until 30th November to complete your challenges. Only one layout will be accepted for each ScrapBurst. There will be a Prize Pack up for grabs in each ScrapBurst with the winners being selected by the Creative Team.  An announcement will declare the winners on 2nd December. Good luck everyone!

BLIND CROPVILLE
The November Blind CropVille will be run at Ruby's in Myrtleford on Thursday 17th November commencing 7pm. You can book at Scrapville, or at Ruby's.

The Scrapville BCV classes will be run on Saturday 19th November at 2pm and at 7pm. Bookings & deposit are essential.

For those that would like to attend the Blind CropVille but are not sure of the skill requirements, please speak to Janet.  You will get to try out a few new techniques (and even a few older ones you may have forgotten about), and that will just add to the excitement of the class. Interpretation is the key to each instruction given in these classes.  Come along and try out a class, I'm sure you'll be happy with what you accomplish.

WANDERVILLE
Regular Wednesday afternoons are still set aside for WanderVille at Scrapville.  Here you can "Wander on in" to Scrapville and scrap, make your cards, finish off those Christmas cards, or look for a bit of inspiration for that next project. You can also use the time to do a catch-up class, so long as prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to tackle a challenge or two, pick up some ideas or get a little help making a start on that special project, we at Scrapville are happy to assist you when requested. And of course you can also enjoy a coffee or tea in the meantime, and find everything else you need to get it all done.  I'm still hoping you might get one in before the silly season sets in......

CLASSES

The Class Lists are now up on the "Newsletter & Classes Blog" for October, November & December Classes. The Flower Technique Classes were a great success, and have been put up again with an advanced 5th Class that the girls have been working on. We will be doing the Paper Christmas Wreath class again, with 2 classes already done, so if you missed out last year you'd better get in early.

Anyone wanting to do MakeUp or Repeat Classes will need to check the Class List for new times. You can also find these uploaded to the Newsletter Blog shortly.  If any class dates don't suit, just contact Janet to see if there is a waiting list or alternative date for another class.

November will see the last class for the 2011 Monthly Copic Club.  The girls have been doing some very creative cards and experimenting with their techniques.
