DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

Hi everyone, and welcome to the December Newsletter, our last for 2013.  Where has this year gone?  It's been such a busy year for me personally, and it baffles me to think where the time has gone!  It's something you tend to lose track of quite a bit running your own business.  I hope that in 2014 we all find more time to do the things we love doing.

Well Silly Season has set in, and I wonder if everyone is frantically organizing themselves through all the chaos?  I'm sure there's still a few of you out there like me who need to finish sorting Christmas Cards, Decorations and their shopping lists!  There's a reason it's called the Silly Season!...

My family commitments still require me to be away from the shop on Mondays, so I will continue to remain closed for the time being.  All in all the road is definitely smoother at this time, but not less travelled, and not alone!  The little Fart still makes the trips and is Uber Excited to see her dad (Old Fart), so for me that makes it all worth while.  Thanks for your patience everyone, and understanding the changes I've had to make.

FINALLY....

I would like to pass on my gratitude to those who have supported Scrapville this last year, through many avenues. and in many ways.  Your friendships, loyalty, attendances for our crops, classes, scrap days and nights enables me to keep the doors open, and keep you creating, stocked up, tech'd up and happy!

So, I would like to thank all my customers for their support, chats, fly-bys and visits.  The reality is that many of my scrapbooking retail sisters have already closed their doors because they did not have the support to keep them open.  This effects us all and we rely greatly on the support you give us when you come through the door to touch and feel, re-stock, shop, crop, create, gather and share, so thank you all sincerely for being there.

To my Class Instructors, a huge thank you.   Not only do you offer the girls a wonderful variety of classes, but also the learning platforms that enable each person to achieve individual thresholds. Throughout the year Scrapville's Instructors have all been pleasant and supportive, with skills that enable the girls to create comfortably.  Thanks to Sam, Angie, Zan and most of all Heidi, who has been such a great instructor and support to me throughout the year.

To my Creative Teams, you have all been awesome!  Whilst we have put the brakes on the CT for the time being, we have had such wonderful girls on the Creative Team.  I want to thank you all for the time and effort you have taken to create your wonderful projects and support Scrapville.  A big thank you also to Anita, who has been super-wonderful for creating our extra special Monthly Sketches.  I'm looking forward to sharing more in 2014.

To the behind-the-scenes girls, you know who you are!  Thank you heaps for the extra little bits and pieces you do for me "all over the shop!"  It has helped enormously in almost keeping me sane............almost!

To my family, thanks for being there, here and everywhere when I've needed you to!  Thanks in advance for next year too when you'll do it all again!......

Have a great Christmas and New Years break everyone, however you choose to spend it, and stay safe over the holiday period. To the rest who don't enjoy this time of year, Bah Humbug and cheers, chin chin and grin!
