March Newsletter

Hi Everyone, welcome to the March Newsletter.  This month there is plenty happening at Scrapville, we have a real mixed bag of Scrap-a-mation and Card-a-mation (copyright Scrapville....) to fill you in on, so read on below for more creative insight.

But first, what about our Spellbinders Designer Classes with Lovely Linda - Designer and Blogger for Spellbinders??  In February we ran 2 Spellbinders Classes, instructed by Linda Lucas who is from the Spellbinders SpellBlogger Team, and as a DT Member of the Australian Distributors of Spellbinders. These classes were a great success, with firsthand experience by Linda and her lovely assistant, Teresa, guiding the ladies through a range of techniques to 2 lovely cards using Spellbinders fantastic products and partner products.

Along with Spellbinders Dies and M-Bossabilities, the Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine was given a good workout. This machine is such an easy tool to use, and takes so much of the work out of achieving your end results.  Working with a larger size plate also means  you don't have to keep upsizing and adding adapter plates.  Be sure to ask about a demo when you call in so you can see for yourself.

March Monthly Pack
BoBunny Press

This month we are going with a lovely pack by BoBunny Press.  C'est la Vie is full of pastel tones with a Shabby feel.  This immediately opens up avenues to try a few different styles, given the versatility of these papers and colourings.  I think we'll be seeing some beautiful work with this one, and it would be remiss of me not to say "don't miss out....you will be disappointed!"  We hope you can join us with this months challenge, and look forward to seeing how you put your creations together.  Don't forget, you can now upload your challenges to the Linky on the sidebar. If this doesn't suit or you don't have a Blog, email your image to Scrapville and we'll do it for you.  Grab a Monthly Pack today, there will be a limited number available.

MARCH SCRAPBURSTS
Yes, it's on again - but wait there's more!  For our March ScrapBursts we have decided to change it up a bit.  The new ScrapBursts will run from 15th March to 30th April, and why, might you ask, is this stretched out so much?  Because we are introducing CardBursts to give all our avid card making creators a challenge of their own.  So this time around we will be having 4 ScrapBursts for the Scrappers, and 4 CardBursts for the Card Makers.  You may enter either Burst, or a couple, or ALL if you so desire.  Your only limit is that you may only enter ONE Challenge in each category.  Now, there's more.......

We will be doing a Prize for EACH Burst, and these will be uploaded to the Blog on commencement of the March ScrapBursts.  We will have kits available to purchase for your Bursts, but these are optional, you don't have to use them..... but IF you DO, there will be an extra Prize.  There will also be TWO BONUS PRIZES, one in each Burst, and the nature of these will be advised on the 15th.  Are you getting excited?  The Creative Team is so antsy it's not funny!  Ok I'm antsy, but I'll bet they are too!!  I can't wait, and I hope you're raring to go because there's going to be plenty to tempt the boundaries of your inspiration.  Oh, and you don't don't get to see the list until the FIRST POST on the BLOG on the 15th March............. It's really not that far away, so get your running shoes ready, I know you're Bursting to Create!!
