SKETCH CHALLENGES
Our September/October Sketch Challenge has less than a week left before Pumpkin Time, so jump on board people and get yours in. With the new Sketch is a Tag Card, which I'm hoping a few more people will have a go at.
OCTOBER MONTHLY PACK
Our October Monthly Pack will be out next week due to a few delays with CHAS orders, so keep tuned for that. For those that Subscribe to the Monthly Packs, these will be held for you at Scrapville unless otherwise advised.
DOCRAFTS
The next DoCrafts Mag and stock items will be in-store in the next few days.
CROPVILLE
This month's Blind CropVille will be run at Ruby's in Myrtleford on Thursday 20th October commencing 7pm. You can book here at Scrapville, or at Ruby's.
The Scrapville BCV will be run on Saturday 22nd October at 2pm and at 7pm. Bookings are essential, as is the deposit.
For those that find the Blind CropVille a little daunting, please speak to Janet so that you can ascertain the required level of skill or technique required for each class. You will get to try a few new techniques (and even a few older ones you'd forgotten about), and that just adds to the excitement. Interpretation is the key to each instruction given in these classes, and this is what makes the layout more individual. We do not expect the layouts to be exact replica's of the Master Layout at the end, because we know that everyone has a different take on how the instructions are understood. Come along and enjoy a class and I'm sure you'll be happy with what you've accomplished.
WANDERVILLE
We have a regular Wednesday afternoon set aside for WanderVille, where you can come into the workshop at Scrapville and scrap, make your cards, get on top of those Christmas cards now, or look for inspiration for that next project. You can also use the time to do a catch-up class, so long as prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to tackle a challenge or two, pick up some ideas or get a little help making a start on that special project, we at Scrapville are happy to assist you when requested. And of course you can also enjoy a coffee or tea in the meantime, and find everything else you need to get it all done. I'm still hoping you might......
CLASSES
We are just about ready to put up the Classes for the October & November Class Lists. The Flower Technique Classes were a great successful, and will be put up again with the advanced 5th Class that the girls have been working on. There will be another Christmas Wreath class, so if you missed out last year you'd better get in early.
Anyone wanting to do MakeUp or Repeat Classes will need to check the Class List for new times. You can also find these uploaded to the Newsletter Blog shortly.
The Monthly Copic Club is going along well, and the girls have been producing some beautiful cards at Show and Tell. With the last class held out at Retreat, the girls were able to sneak a peek at their work.
The next Copic Club Class will be held in November, with the girls getting to try out a few more techniques to add to their styles. Once we have finished with the First Copic Club we will look at running the 2nd Copic Club Classes in 2012. If you feel you would like to learn how to use these Markers to their full potential, please make enquiries instore - it really does make a difference to your colouring.
KIDSVILLE CLASSES
The last of the KidsVille Classes were run this THURSDAY of the school holidays. There were an enthusiastic young group in attendance, and I must say mums, these kids will always know what THEY want! What we start with and what we end up with could well be two entirely different designs, but as long as the little people are happy with their layouts, (and I can get reasonably close to the mark...) we're all happy!

RETREATVILLE
Well we're done and dusted for another year. RetreatVille was a lot of fun, very relaxing, and we had a great group of ladies to boot! In amongst the normalities of retreat we had our Copic Club Class, a Girls Night In, a wonderful raffle filled with scrappy goodness, an invitation Crop, Spot Prizes, a Blind Crop and a Stitching Class that Heather ran before the Girls Night In commenced. The layouts were all beautiful, so lucky were those that were stitched up with Heather! The food was magnificent, and the ambiance of the group a pleasure - I can't wait for next year! (.....don't tell Lui..... again!) Thanks to everyone that attended and made it such an enjoyable (and entertaining) pleasure, and I love all my little thank-you tags!
The date is already set for 2012, and we will do what it takes to make it even better! Lock it in people, September 20th to 23rd 2012. I will be sending out an information email to all 2011 attendees shortly with new information regarding bookings.
