November Newsletter
Hi everyone, and welcome to the start of some warmer weather. There's sure to be plenty of photo opportunities with everyone spending a little more time outdoors. November is the start of silly season activities as things heat up for the Christmas run. Time is certainly fleeting! And on that note, we'll move it all along.
As a quick heads up I'd just like to say that my family commitments still required me to be away from the shop on Mondays, so I will continue to remain closed for the time being.
The Old Fart (Poppy) is now in a lovely new hostel a bit further away, and settling in very well. His Little Fart (Pitty) is enjoying the road trips when we visit, and the French Connection (Croissant the Cat) is getting to know her a bit more, although the odd tail grabbing has been noticed! All in all the road is smoother, but not less travelled!
So if you miss me on a Monday, I am still open Tuesday through Friday, and 10am to 2pm Saturdays.
SENIORS CELEBRATIONS - OCTOBER
Scrapville would like to thank all the ladies who attended our Senior Celebrations Program, enjoying Card Making and Scrapbooking classes each Tuesday during October. We enjoyed hosting the classes and hope you were pleased with your cards and pages.
Thanks also go the Heidi and Zan for taking good care of the ladies.

Hi Everyone, welcome to the May Newsletter. Here we are gearing up for the cold, wet winter weather whilst still enjoying a few sunny days. It might be not last much longer, but we know colder weather is just Perfect for staying indoors to scrap or make cards! I hope everyone enjoyed the last school holidays whilst we still had some great outdoor weather.
APRIL SCRAPBURSTS
How did you all enjoy our ScrapBursts? And what about our new addition - the Card Bursts? During March and April we ran 4 challenges in each section, finishing on April 30th. The winners in the Spellbinders Challenges will each receive a BONUS prize (if they have purchased their dies used in the challenge from Scrapville!) Now that we’ve closed the voting, we’d like to announce the winners from each section.
Congratulations to the winners in both ScrapBurst challenges:

March Newsletter
Hi Everyone, welcome to the March Newsletter. This month there is plenty happening at Scrapville, we have a real mixed bag of Scrap-a-mation and Card-a-mation (copyright Scrapville....) to fill you in on, so read on below for more creative insight.
But first, what about our Spellbinders Designer Classes with Lovely Linda - Designer and Blogger for Spellbinders?? In February we ran 2 Spellbinders Classes, instructed by Linda Lucas who is from the Spellbinders SpellBlogger Team, and as a DT Member of the Australian Distributors of Spellbinders. These classes were a great success, with firsthand experience by Linda and her lovely assistant, Teresa, guiding the ladies through a range of techniques to 2 lovely cards using Spellbinders fantastic products and partner products.
Along with Spellbinders Dies and M-Bossabilities, the Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine was given a good workout. This machine is such an easy tool to use, and takes so much of the work out of achieving your end results. Working with a larger size plate also means you don't have to keep upsizing and adding adapter plates. Be sure to ask about a demo when you call in so you can see for yourself.

Picot Box and Matching Card
Week 1 - 7pm to 9pm
$25 includes kit
This class has been re-scheduled due to illness, and will now run next Thursday.
Using Spellbinders Dies, paper folding, punching and handmade paper flowers you will make your own decorated Picot Circle Box. For the card you will construct a cutout spinner using punches, dies and a bit of technique from Samantha. This little set is wonderful when put together as a Gift Set, and is sure to please. This class will be ongoing each month on a Thursday, and Samantha will be focusing her classes on using interesting new techniques and trends. Call in and see our samples to see why you shouldn't miss out.
Samantha is very talented and has a real flair for creativity. We are excited to have her behind our technique and advanced card classes at Scrapville.
Bookings necessary.
MARCH SCRAPBURSTS
Yes, it's on again - but wait there's more! For our March ScrapBursts we have decided to change it up a bit. The new ScrapBursts will run from 15th March to 30th April, and why, might you ask, is this stretched out so much? Because we are introducing CardBursts to give all our avid card making creators a challenge of their own. So this time around we will be having 4 ScrapBursts for the Scrappers, and 4 CardBursts for the Card Makers. You may enter either Burst, or a couple, or ALL if you so desire. Your only limit is that you may only enter ONE Challenge in each category. Now, there's more.......
We will be doing a Prize for EACH Burst, and these will be uploaded to the Blog on commencement of the March ScrapBursts. We will have kits available to purchase for your Bursts, but these are optional, you don't have to use them..... but IF you DO, there will be an extra Prize. There will also be TWO BONUS PRIZES, one in each Burst, and the nature of these will be advised on the 15th. Are you getting excited? The Creative Team is so antsy it's not funny! Ok I'm antsy, but I'll bet they are too!! I can't wait, and I hope you're raring to go because there's going to be plenty to tempt the boundaries of your inspiration.
March Monthly Pack
BoBunny Press

This month we are going with a lovely pack by BoBunny Press. C'est la Vie is full of pastel tones with a Shabby feel. This immediately opens up avenues to try a few different styles, given the versatility of these papers and colourings. I think we'll be seeing some beautiful work with this one, and it would be remiss of me not to say "don't miss out....you will be disappointed!" We hope you can join us with this months challenge, and look forward to seeing how you put your creations together. Don't forget, you can now upload your challenges to the Linky on the sidebar. If this doesn't suit or you don't have a Blog, email your image to Scrapville and we'll do it for you. Grab a Monthly Pack today, there will be a limited number available.
