Hello Everyone and welcome to the Scrapville February Newsletter. With one month already at an end I'm sure everyone with children is excited to see the kiddies all heading off to school, and a bit of normality settling back in to our days. I hope that eveyone has had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year break, and that your year ahead is brimmed with all that's good.
February Monthly Pack.
Kissing Booth from BasicGrey
I hope everyone gets a lot out of this colourful pack, in both quantity and enjoyment. Riddled with pinks and reds and a mix of yellow and green hues, it all combines with Element and Alpha sheets, ribbons, trims, lace and glitter to really get your creativity ticking over. If you haven't already signed up for your Monthly Subscription, give it some thought as there are very limited packs available in store.
As you will notice on the Blog the Creative Team girls are very busy whipping up their layouts and cards, and they are doing a wonderful job. We are fortunate to have Anita designing our Sketches, which I might add are just beautiful! - thanks Anita.
Apart from the Monthly Packs, any products the girls use on their layouts are available at Scrapville, so if you are interested in anything from their creations just pop in, or send an email.
Blind CropVille
The January BCV went off very well, with lots of bright and summery layouts. The girls put their hand to a bit of fussy cutting, bunting, mounting, some paper scoring and folding, resulting in an array of beautiful handmade flowers. As always, intrepretation is the key, and it really is good to see how each layout comes out a little different from the next.
As well as the regular instore class, Sally treated the CT girls to a cyber BCV, and once again we saw some great outcomes. Thanks to everyone who attended or took part. All Blind Cropvilles will be run on the 2nd Saturday of each month from February, and booking are essential. The next one isn't that far away on February 11th, so make sure you're booked!
Classes
The Class List is up for January through April, so if you are interested in attending you will need to pop on over to the Newsletter Blog, or stop by Scrapville to book in.
We have several new classes this year, with an ongoing Monthly Calendar Class for 2013 with Krissy. An excellent gift idea for that special Christmas present this year, all done and ready for the following year. Mum or Nanna will be most pleased, but don't stop there - it will be admired by many! An extra treat for this class is that our Creative Team will be contributing several months of beautiful designs to the Calendar throughout the year.
The Stash Box is the first of several Off The Page projects this year. We hope to give you several interesting designs to dress up your storage area, as well as the extra projects to decorate your home.
The Flower Tech classes are off and running again, and you will end up with some beautifully crafted cards with your own handmade flowers. Each class will take you to a new technique, and some very creative flowers. For those that missed classes previously, you can still do the makeup class.
The Copic Club is set to Start this month, so be sure to book in. There are exclusive discounts for Members, and each Monthly Class includes a kit and instructions. By the time you've finished you will have a good supply of Copic Ciao Markers, and be able to create your own cards or pages. Our aim is that you will feel confident in using the colouring techniques that you have been taught, under the proper hands on instruction.
Once again, with all Classes and Crops we require a minimum number of attendees to run efficiently. If we don't have the numbers the dates will be re-scheduled or the classes cancelled.
We also offer a discount on class products and tools purchased at the classes. A great incentive to increase your supply of tools and products.
