Hi Everyone, welcome to the April Newsletter. I hope everyone had an enjoyable break at Easter, and you're now enjoying the welcome autumn weather as we commence the last week of school holidays here in Victoria. I hope you find a little time to scrap or get a few cards done whilst enjoying the pleasant days ahead.
APRIL SCRAPBURSTS
As we push on with a little Scrap-a-mation and Card-a-mation (copyright Scrapville....) our ScrapBursts still have plenty of Pumpkin Time to go. With 4 ScrapBursts in each section, I'm sure you'll find a challenge to tempt your inspiration. The new ScrapBursts are running from 15th March to 30th April, and we have introduced CardBursts into the mix. This is to give all our avid card making creators a challenge of their own. This time around we will be having 4 ScrapBurst challenges for the for the Scrappers, and 4 CardBursts challenges for the Card Makers. You may enter either Burst, or a couple, or ALL if you so desire. Your only limit is that you may only enter ONE Challenge in each category. But please, read on - there's more.......
We will be doing a Prize for EACH Burst, and there are also kits available to purchase for your Bursts, but these are optional, you don't have to use them..... but IF you DO, there will be an extra Prize. There will also be TWO BONUS PRIZES, one is a ScrapBurst challenge, and the other is a CardBurst challenge. Are you getting excited? These will be revealed when announcing the winners.
MONTHLY PACK
During March we ran the gorgeous C'est la Vie range by BoBunny Press as our Monthly Pack. Despite the low number of entries we saw the Creative Team girls putting out some beautiful work, and managing to get several layouts out of this pack. They are an inspiration and a credit to the Team, and I thank them sincerely for the extra time they put in.
LOCAL SHOW STOPPERS
On Friday 15th & Saturday 16th March Wodonga had their 66th Wodonga Show. With Scrapville sponsoring this year's Scrapbooking Section, the judges awarded the following Class Winners. Congratulations to everyone who entered, and to those who came out with prizes and awards.

Due to the increased interest of WanderVille, we at Scrapville would like to seek your expression of interest in opening up another morning for WanderVille on a regular weekly basis. This would allow time for those who are unable to attend the Wednesday afternoon WanderVille’s to have an alternative option to get out and get creative. We would like to propose that this be a Tuesday or Thursday morning from 9am to 1pm. Alternately, if you have a group of 6 or more and would like to book the workshop for your own WanderVille Group on a regular basis, we would be interested in discussing this with you.
Please indicate your feedback on the Slip provided at the end of this Newsletter, and return it to the information box on the sales counter, or contact Janet directly.
